You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your background includes a strong focus on front-end technologies, and you have a proven track record of guiding teams through architectural decisions and best practices. You are passionate about fostering a collaborative environment where developers can thrive and innovate. You understand the importance of performance and scalability in user interfaces, and you are adept at mentoring engineers to help them grow in their careers. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables. You believe in the power of diversity and inclusion, and you encourage team members to bring their unique perspectives to the table.

Desirable

Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React or Angular, is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira can enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in the automotive industry or e-commerce platforms would be beneficial, but not required.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Front End Platforms team at CarGurus, you will lead a group of talented engineers in building and maintaining scalable user interfaces that enhance the customer experience.
