Experience with open-source projects or contributions to the community is a plus. Familiarity with Grafana or similar observability tools will help you hit the ground running. You have a strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies, which will enable you to effectively guide your teams through various phases of product development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead two product-focused squads, focusing on Grafana Cloud k6 Frontend and k6 Studio. You will be responsible for shaping the future of our reliability testing products, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by our users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product vision and strategy. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation and accountability within your teams, driving them to deliver impactful results.

You will conduct regular one-on-ones with team members to support their professional growth and development. By providing mentorship and guidance, you will help your engineers enhance their skills and advance their careers. You will also be involved in hiring processes, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent in the industry.

As part of your responsibilities, you will monitor team performance and project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards. You will advocate for best practices in reliability testing and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes. Your role will also involve engaging with the broader engineering community to share insights and learnings, further establishing Grafana as a leader in the observability space.
