Overview

Truveta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and maintenance of cloud-native systems for health data. You'll work primarily with Azure and DevOps practices. This role requires deep expertise in building scalable and reliable systems.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building scalable and secure cloud-native systems. Your background includes a strong focus on health data and a passion for using technology to save lives. You possess deep expertise in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps, and you thrive in mentoring junior engineers while driving the adoption of modern practices. You understand the importance of compliance controls and have experience optimizing system performance.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders allows you to bridge gaps and foster a productive work environment. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

Desirable

Experience with health data systems or similar domains is a plus. Familiarity with compliance regulations in the healthcare industry will set you apart. You may also have experience with automation and observability tools that enhance system reliability and performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure. You will architect, implement, and test new index and query features that aggregate and analyze health data. Your responsibilities will include optimizing end-to-end index performance and planning for highly scalable and reliable search systems. You will also mentor junior engineers, guiding them in adopting best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems you build meet the needs of researchers and clinicians. Your work will directly contribute to Truveta's mission of enabling faster cures and informed healthcare decisions. You will be involved in driving the adoption of automation tools and practices that enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
