Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and extensive bodywork on multiple panels. You are also capable of training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. You understand the importance of teamwork and are committed to contributing to a positive work environment.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies in automotive bodywork is a plus. You are familiar with the latest industry standards and practices, ensuring that your work meets high-quality benchmarks. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for this role.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will perform extensive bodywork on vehicles, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and Bondo repair. You will be responsible for repairing roof and rocker panels, ensuring that all work meets the company's high standards for quality and safety. Your role will also involve training and mentoring other technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in automotive bodywork.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to complete your tasks efficiently. Your commitment to quality and teamwork will be crucial as you collaborate with other technicians to meet the demands of the business. You will be expected to work mandatory overtime based on business needs, demonstrating your dedication to the team's success.
