You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting within the technology industry. Your background includes building strong relationships with stakeholders and businesses, particularly in cloud or enterprise environments. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, and you thrive in cross-functional settings, leveraging relationships to collaborate and drive outcomes. You possess excellent quantitative, qualitative, and investigative skills, with a strong ability to build financial models and value companies. Your knowledge of Google products and ability to work cross-functionally is a significant asset, complemented by your attention to detail, communication skills, business judgment, and work ethic.
In this role, you will work across various functions, including Product, Legal, Finance, Go to Market (GTM), and People Operations, to identify, evaluate, and negotiate acquisition and investment opportunities. You will provide the management team with insights necessary for informed decision-making, understanding the industry landscape and regional nuances to lead agreements and integration efforts. Your responsibilities will include executing transactions, conducting due diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive management team decisions by interfacing with internal executives, developing ecosystem relationships, and attending events to stay informed about trends and perspectives. Additionally, you will support investment portfolio management, ensuring that Google continues to grow through strategic acquisitions and investments.
