Who you are

You have 3+ years of program or project management experience, demonstrating your ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion. Your experience includes working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You have a strong understanding of safety protocols, particularly in laboratory or industrial settings, and you are proficient in implementing and maintaining these standards to ensure compliance and safety in all operations. Your analytical skills allow you to use data and metrics effectively to drive improvements and identify inefficiencies in project execution. You are a proactive problem solver, skilled in risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring that potential issues are addressed before they impact project timelines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead end-to-end project management for space simulation initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. You will develop comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include implementing and enforcing safety protocols across all lab activities, maintaining a 100% compliance rate with safety standards. You will facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, research, operations, and leadership teams, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged. Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including safety procedures and test protocols, and lead incident investigations when safety events occur, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Your role will also involve driving continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project metrics and identifying areas for process enhancements.
