Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for Vehicle Intelligence to drive sales of Fixed License Plate Recognition cameras. You'll collaborate with Key Account Leaders to deliver integrated solutions to law enforcement agencies. This role requires expertise in sales strategy and technical product knowledge.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in technology or public safety solutions — you understand the nuances of complex sales cycles and can effectively engage with decision-makers in large organizations. You are a subject matter expert in your field, capable of articulating technical details and crafting tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Your ability to connect with diverse stakeholders is one of your key strengths — you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with teams to drive results. You are motivated by a mission that matters, and you are eager to contribute to a company that prioritizes public safety and community well-being.

You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written — you can present ideas clearly and persuasively, ensuring that all parties understand the value of the solutions you offer. You are also adept at managing multiple priorities and navigating the complexities of long sales cycles.

Desirable

Experience in the public safety sector or with law enforcement agencies would be a significant advantage — you understand the challenges these organizations face and can speak their language. Familiarity with Fixed License Plate Recognition technology or similar products will set you apart from other candidates.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the sales strategy for Axon's Fixed License Plate Recognition cameras — you will identify use cases, craft tailored solutions, and close deals in collaboration with Key Account Leaders. Your expertise will be crucial in expanding Axon's reach within the public safety sector, unlocking new revenue streams, and helping agencies solve real-world problems through advanced vehicle recognition.

You will act as the go-to resource for LPR product knowledge, implementation logistics, data workflows, and competitive differentiation — your technical expertise will enable you to support complex sales cycles effectively. You will partner with Key Account Leaders to engage decision-makers, respond to RFPs, and drive long-term strategic opportunities within large public safety agencies.

Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation as you stay updated on industry trends and customer needs — you will leverage this knowledge to refine sales strategies and enhance customer engagement. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you provide align with Axon's mission and values.

What we offer

At Axon, you will be part of a mission-driven organization that values innovation and teamwork — you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on public safety through technology. We offer a supportive work environment where you can grow professionally and personally, surrounded by colleagues who share your commitment to making a difference.

You will receive competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement — we believe in investing in our employees and providing them with the resources they need to succeed. Join us in our mission to protect life and transform public safety.
