Overview

Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Development Principal Lead for their Ad Platforms team. You'll manage partnerships and drive business development initiatives across various industries. This role requires extensive experience in partner management and business development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking. Your background spans industries such as Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology. You have a proven track record of working with C-level executives and managing cross-functional teams effectively. Your experience includes managing agreements or partnerships, showcasing your ability to navigate complex business landscapes.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, allowing you to manage ambiguity in rapidly changing environments. Your expertise in partner management or business development within online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech is a significant asset. You are adept at identifying potential partners, analyzing and structuring agreements, and have a history of successful negotiations and execution. Your ability to handle sensitive partnerships in policy contexts further enhances your qualifications.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the forefront of Google's Partnerships Development team, responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with partners. Your business acumen and extensive product knowledge will enable you to interact effectively with partners, helping them leverage Google's latest product offerings to drive growth. You will pitch to internal stakeholders and external partners globally, structuring and facilitating agreements that align with Google's strategic goals.

You will manage partner relationships on a global scale, collaborating with executive partner executives and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Sales. Your role will involve launching agreements and ensuring successful execution, which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. You will also be responsible for optimizing the value derived from partnerships, building effective long-term relationships that contribute to Google's growth objectives.
