Your background includes working in high-tech manufacturing environments, where you've successfully led teams to embed quality into every aspect of the production process. You understand the importance of collaboration across design, manufacturing, and testing teams, ensuring that quality is not just an afterthought but a fundamental part of the engineering process.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation, which drives you to tackle challenges that have not been solved before. Your leadership style encourages autonomy and ownership among team members, fostering an environment where creativity and technical rigor coexist. Desirable

Experience in aerospace or related industries is a plus, as is familiarity with rocket manufacturing processes. You have a track record of developing and implementing quality management systems that align with industry standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential for driving initiatives that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

As the Director of Supplier Development Engineering, you will lead the quality team in embedding quality practices throughout the design and production lifecycle of the Terran R vehicle. You will also mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

In this role, you will engage with suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards and expectations. You will work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to assess supplier capabilities and drive improvements where necessary. Your expertise will be critical in identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the success of the Terran R program.
