Earnin is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to design and develop applications that provide financial flexibility to users. You'll work with technologies like React, C#, and Kotlin, and play a key role in shaping customer experiences. This position requires strong experience in full-stack development and event-driven architecture.
You are an experienced developer with a strong background in full-stack engineering, particularly in building customer-facing applications. With expertise in React, C#, and Kotlin, you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with product and design teams to create impactful user experiences. Your hands-on approach to development means you enjoy coding and are comfortable leading technical discussions. You have experience with event-driven architecture, particularly on AWS, and understand how to leverage cloud technologies to enhance application performance. As a Staff Full Stack Engineer at Earnin, you will take on a hands-on role, dedicating approximately 60% of your time to coding and development. You will lead a team of developers, focusing on frontend-heavy projects that make up about 90% of your work. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features for our applications, ensuring they are user-friendly and efficient. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into functional software solutions. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. You will also be involved in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. Your expertise in AWS will be crucial as you help architect solutions that are robust and capable of handling high traffic. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products, contributing to strategic discussions about technology choices and architecture.
