What you'll do

During your internship, you will assist with the analysis of multi-family and commercial mortgage transactions, gaining valuable insights into the financial aspects of real estate. You will learn how to create initial deal sizing and cash flow analysis, as well as write deal narratives that are crucial for understanding the intricacies of real estate deals. Additionally, you will assist with the review of third-party reports and contribute to marketing initiatives that promote Berkadia’s services. Establishing strong working relationships with your team will be essential, as you will need to understand their needs for support while learning about Commercial Finance. You will actively participate in the research, writing, and proofing of marketing materials, presentations, analyses, reports, and loan or property documents. Utilizing and maintaining databases that track relevant real estate metrics will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring you are well-versed in the tools and technologies used in the industry. Corresponding directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers, and clients to answer questions or provide information will help you develop your communication skills and industry knowledge.
