What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Data Science Team, you will lead a group of 4+ machine learning and backend engineers, guiding them in the development of predictive growth optimization models. You will own the strategy and continuous improvement of Flo's pLTV system, which is critical for user acquisition and financial forecasting. Your role will involve hands-on technical leadership, where you will contribute to the design and implementation of machine learning models that predict lifetime value and optimize marketing spend. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the models align with business objectives and user needs. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within your team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of best practices in data science.
