Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager for YouTube Live to guide products from conception to launch. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering and business teams to drive product development. This role requires 8+ years of experience in consumer product management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in consumer product management or a related technical role. Your background includes 3 years in the mobile business generation, ads, or business growth industry, and you have experience building products for multi-sided ecosystems involving creators, viewers, and advertisers. A Master's degree in a technology or business-related field is preferred, as is 5 years of experience in a business function or role such as marketing, business operations, or consulting. You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business finance, and other stakeholders for at least 5 years, and you are skilled in preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership. With 3 years of experience in software development or engineering, you also have a strong foundation in people management, having led teams with direct reports and demonstrated technical leadership.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development. Your responsibilities will include managing the validation of market size and opportunity, focusing on user-based opportunities and business growth. You will lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative, for new or existing products or business ventures. You will collaborate closely with creative engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that impact millions of users daily.
