Overview

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Applications (Finance) to oversee financial systems and applications. You'll collaborate with various teams to deliver technical solutions that drive business success. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in managing enterprise applications, particularly in finance, and possess a deep understanding of financial processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report. As a people-focused leader, you excel in cross-functional project leadership and have a proven track record of facilitating successful collaborations across various departments. You are adept at overseeing system strategy and implementation, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives. Your exceptional facilitation abilities enable you to champion process improvements that support organizational growth. You are committed to developing your team, guiding IT product managers and system administrators in their career paths, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with financial systems and applications is a plus, as is familiarity with IT project management methodologies. You may also have a background in working with stakeholders in finance, accounting, and operations, which will enhance your ability to deliver impactful solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and support PagerDuty's portfolio of financial systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. You will partner with teams across Revenue, GL Accounting, Tax & Treasury, Procurement, FP&A, and Operations to identify and implement technical solutions that drive business success. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing the development and growth of your team, as you guide them through complex projects and help them achieve their professional goals. You will also be responsible for championing process improvements, leveraging your expertise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Your ability to navigate cross-functional dynamics will be key to your success, as you work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver results that align with PagerDuty's strategic objectives.
