Snowflake is seeking a Staff Product Manager for their Developer Platform team to define the strategy for foundational infrastructure that enhances the developer experience. This role requires strong leadership and strategic vision in managing complex systems.

Who you are

You are a seasoned product leader with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios and driving strategic initiatives. With over 5 years of experience in product management, you have a deep understanding of the developer experience and the challenges faced by data engineers and app developers. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about empowering teams to innovate and excel. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge gaps and foster alignment across teams.

You possess a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to define metrics and measure success effectively. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can prioritize initiatives that deliver the most value to users. Your experience in leading cross-functional teams ensures that you can drive projects from conception through execution, always keeping the end-user in mind. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance processes and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-based platforms and an understanding of data architecture will be beneficial. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools will help you thrive in this role. A background in software engineering or a related technical field is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to collaborate with engineering teams effectively.

What you'll do

As a Staff Product Manager at Snowflake, you will take ownership of the vision for how developers connect to and interact with the Data Cloud. You will define the strategy for the foundational infrastructure that powers the developer experience, ensuring that it is seamless and intuitive. Your role will involve managing widely adopted, mission-critical systems while also incubating new capabilities that enhance the platform.

You will partner closely with senior engineering leaders to drive a multi-year roadmap, focusing on solving fundamental architectural and developer experience challenges at scale. Your strategic insights will guide the development of our connectivity layer, programmatic interfaces, and automation tools, ensuring that they meet the needs of our users.

You will lead initiatives that require collaboration across various teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure that the product vision is realized effectively. Your ability to synthesize feedback from users and stakeholders will be crucial in refining the product strategy and prioritizing features that deliver the most impact.
