You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with experience managing enterprise accounts. Your ability to develop and execute account plans has led to successful business expansions with middle market and enterprise companies. You possess superior verbal and written communication skills in both Italian and English, allowing you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, demonstrating a strong interest in technology and its applications in business.
Experience at a growth stage Internet or Software company is preferred, as it equips you with the insights needed to understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector. Your background in leading complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements will be a significant asset in this role.
As an Account Executive at Stripe, you will own a named account list and develop strategic account plans aimed at winning and expanding business with middle market and enterprise clients. You will be responsible for creating and nurturing opportunities through outbound strategies, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients. Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, you will guide clients through the onboarding process to ensure they become satisfied Stripe users.
You will lead contract renewals and engage in commercial negotiations to increase and retain existing customer revenue while expanding Stripe's market share. Building relationships with executive stakeholders at both new and existing clients will be crucial, as you will work closely with leaders from various functions, including Engineering, Product, and Finance, to facilitate complex product workshops and develop financial analyses.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will contribute to team projects aimed at refining our sales processes, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented across the team. Your role will also involve engaging with cross-functional teams, including Partners, Post Sales, Product, and Engineering, to drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and streamline operations.
