Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Inspector to prep vehicles for paint, including tasks like sanding and buffing. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive prepping experience.
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. As an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you are ready to take on the responsibility of prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the business needs, including working mandatory overtime when necessary.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair will be considered a plus. You are open to learning and growing within the company, taking advantage of the training programs offered to enhance your skills and pay as you progress.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint, ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepped to meet high-quality standards. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of the vehicle inspection process. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you perform tasks such as sanding and masking to ensure that each vehicle is ready for the next stage of the repair process.
You will also be expected to collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production goals. As part of your role, you will receive ongoing training to help you develop your skills further, ensuring that you are well-equipped to handle the demands of the job. Your commitment to teamwork and quality will play a significant role in Carvana's mission to deliver great vehicles to customers on time.
