Box is seeking a Staff Security Engineer specializing in AI Security to lead the security strategy for Generative AI technologies. You'll design and implement security controls to address risks associated with autonomous AI agents. This role requires extensive experience in security engineering.
You are a highly skilled and visionary Staff Security Engineer with a strong background in security engineering and a passion for AI technologies. With extensive experience in designing and implementing security strategies, you understand the unique challenges posed by Generative AI and Agentic AI. You have a proven track record of developing security controls that effectively mitigate risks associated with autonomous systems. Your expertise in applicable human rights legislation ensures that security measures align with ethical standards. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to work with cross-functional teams to enhance the security posture of Box's platform.
Experience with AI technologies and their security implications is a plus. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations related to data protection will be beneficial. You are proactive in staying updated on the latest security trends and threats in the AI landscape.
In this role, you will lead the security strategy for Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies within Box's platform. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and operationalizing security controls that address the novel risks introduced by autonomous AI agents. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will ensure that security is integrated into the development lifecycle from the outset. You will conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of security controls and responding to incidents as they arise. You will also be responsible for educating teams on security best practices and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
