PSA Manager, APAC Data Center Design Engineering

Who you are

You have a strong background in physical security architecture and engineering, with experience in designing low voltage systems for data centers. You are familiar with AWS Physical Security Standards and have a keen understanding of risk assessments and threat analysis. Your technical skills include proficiency in drafting technologies such as AutoCAD and Revit, enabling you to collaborate effectively with design teams. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of data center design. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with regional and local physical security leaders to implement innovative security solutions. You are adaptable and able to navigate the complexities of a global security program, ensuring that new technologies meet the unique challenges of data center operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering low voltage systems that enhance the physical security of AWS data centers. You will collaborate with the data center architectural and engineering teams to ensure that security best practices are observed in all designs. Your duties will include drafting new systems into the design teams' build plans and creating specifications and scope of work documentation for local project managers. You will provide technical and design support for local physical security teams, ensuring that all security technologies selected align with AWS standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with various disciplines to achieve the best results for our customers, interpreting risk assessments and threat analyses to inform your design decisions. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the security landscape of AWS data centers, ensuring they are equipped to handle the challenges of a global security program.
