Overview

Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise software sales and manage complex sales cycles. You'll engage with C-suite executives and drive customer relationships to exceed sales quotas. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales.

Job Description

Who you are

You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your proven track record of exceeding quotas demonstrates your ability to drive a superior customer experience. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a team sport at Tanium, where managing and utilizing virtual resources is essential for tackling large sales cycles.

What you'll do

As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. Nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory will be key, as you present the value of the Tanium platform to the C-suite. You will collaborate with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring healthy pipeline management through appropriate sales development activities. Accurate forecasting and maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene will be part of your responsibilities, along with conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads. Travel may be required as needed to support your sales efforts.
