Coupang is hiring an Action Taker for their real-time operations team in Tokyo. You'll monitor operational quality and execute necessary actions based on standard operating procedures. This role requires basic PC skills and clear communication.
You possess basic PC skills, including proficiency in typing and using tools like Excel and Google Sheets. You are capable of reading and executing standard operating procedures accurately, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your communication skills are clear and effective, allowing you to work well within a team environment. You are flexible and can adapt to shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You have native-level proficiency in Japanese, which is essential for this role.
You have practical experience in operational monitoring, contact centers, data entry, or back-office roles. Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticket systems, such as dashboards, Jira, or ServiceNow, is a plus. You take pride in the accuracy of your operational records and reporting. You are comfortable reading English SOPs and screen displays, which will aid in your daily tasks.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring real-time dashboards and system alerts to ensure process quality and stability. You will execute operations quickly and accurately on a PC, following the established SOPs and operational guidelines. Timely escalation of any anomalies or incidents will be part of your duties, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly. You will also organize, record, and report execution logs and response histories, maintaining clear documentation of operations. Collaboration with other departments, such as Ops, Customer Service, and Development, will be essential to ensure seamless operations. You will be required to work shifts, which may include nights and weekends, to meet operational demands.
Coupang offers a contract employment type with a probation period. The contract duration will be communicated separately if applicable. You will have the opportunity to work fully remote, with the initial requirement to pick up your PC at the Roppongi office. The working hours will be shift-based, with a two-day weekend, and break times will be adjusted based on operational needs.
