Rubrik is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to their SLED sales team in Wisconsin. You'll be responsible for driving innovative technical programs and overseeing account-level activities, leveraging your expertise in cloud data management and technical sales.
You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with over 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise in cloud data management solutions allows you to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are skilled in solution architecture and have a proven track record of driving revenue through innovative technical programs. Your ability to analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions sets you apart as a trusted advisor in the sales process.
You possess deep knowledge of distributed architectures and file systems, which enables you to demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products. Your experience in the SAN product space allows you to effectively position and evangelize Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform to a diverse range of customers, including enterprise, mid-market, and small business clients.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales teams to achieve regional revenue goals. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with customers and internal staff alike, ensuring that everyone is aligned on technical solutions and business objectives. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the customer experience.
Experience with cloud computing platforms and data protection solutions is a plus. Familiarity with competitive storage offerings will help you position Rubrik effectively against competitors. A background in working with government and education sectors (SLED) will be beneficial in understanding the unique needs of these markets.
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will play a critical role in supporting the SLED sales team by providing technical direction and business guidance. You will be responsible for driving innovative technical programs that align with regional revenue goals. Your day-to-day activities will include overseeing account-level activities, ensuring that technical solutions meet customer requirements, and providing expert consultation on Rubrik’s products.
You will assist in the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions that support pre-sales activities in the assigned market. Your technical leadership will be essential in demonstrating the value of Rubrik’s cloud data management platform to potential customers. You will work closely with sales representatives to prepare and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the benefits of Rubrik’s solutions.
In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting product demonstrations and technical workshops for customers, showcasing how Rubrik’s solutions can simplify backup and recovery, accelerate cloud adoption, and secure against cyber threats. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be key to your success in this position.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape the future direction of Rubrik’s offerings. Your insights will be invaluable in ensuring that Rubrik remains at the forefront of cloud data management technology.
