You have a strong background in legal processes, particularly in litigation and e-discovery. With experience in managing legal holds and ensuring compliance across various data sources, you understand the importance of 'right-sizing' legal holds to minimize unnecessary retention and costs. You are adept at collaborating with IT and business units to ensure the defensible preservation of relevant electronically stored information (ESI). Your communication skills allow you to effectively consult with internal teams and outside counsel, ensuring that all legal processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and refine Roblox's legal hold process, ensuring that all data sources are compliant with legal requirements. You will work closely with various departments to develop strategies for the preservation of relevant ESI, ensuring that the company is prepared for any potential litigation. Your responsibilities will include consulting with internal teams and outside counsel to develop and execute effective e-discovery strategies. You will also be involved in training and educating staff on legal compliance matters, fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility regarding data management.

You will report directly to the Director of Litigation, collaborating with them to address any legal challenges that arise. Your role will require you to stay updated on legal trends and best practices in e-discovery and litigation, ensuring that Roblox remains at the forefront of compliance and legal excellence. You will also participate in cross-functional teams to address broader organizational goals and initiatives, contributing your legal expertise to support the company's mission.
