This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in optical networking.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with at least 3 years of experience in optical networking technologies. Your background includes negotiations or business development with technology providers in areas such as colocation data centers, dark fiber, and network transport. You possess a deep understanding of fiber types, their applications, and physical characteristics, as well as standard testing tools like OSA, BERT, and OTDR. Your experience extends to telecommunications at a carrier class level, including optical network infrastructure and transmission systems, as well as layer 2/3 routers and data services.
