Waabi is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to work on self-driving technology. You'll collaborate with design teams and utilize tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering fundamentals.
You are an aspiring Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly in analog and digital circuits. You have experience using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers, which you are proficient with. Familiarity with EE CAD tools like Altium or orCAD is part of your skill set, and you are comfortable with scripting languages, preferably Python. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and your excellent written and verbal communication abilities enable you to collaborate effectively with team members.
In this internship, you will own the board bringup and automated board testing processes, ensuring that all key functions and edge cases are covered in the test plans you prepare. You will collaborate closely with the design team to develop these test plans based on specific design requirements and specifications. Writing, debugging, and optimizing test scripts for automated board testing will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will coordinate with the software team to ensure seamless integration and operation of the systems you are testing. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in a cutting-edge AI environment, contributing to the development of self-driving technology.
