Overview

Checkr is seeking a Senior Product Operations Specialist to enhance data quality and operational strategies in the background screening industry. You'll collaborate with Product, Operations, and Data teams to drive process improvements. This role requires deep knowledge of the U.S. Judicial System.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in product operations, ideally with 5+ years of experience in the background screening industry. Your deep knowledge of the U.S. Judicial System allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively. You thrive in data-driven settings and are skilled at ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams makes you a valuable bridge in cross-functional collaborations.

You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of implementing process improvements that enhance data quality and operational efficiency. Your analytical mindset enables you to track and monitor data accuracy, ensuring that the information provided to clients is reliable and high-quality. You are proactive in identifying areas for optimization and are comfortable leveraging data insights to drive decision-making.

Desirable

Experience with data management tools and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics platforms. A background in compliance or risk management would also be beneficial, as it aligns with the responsibilities of ensuring safety and compliance in background checks. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can enhance your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with Product Managers, Data, and Operations teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance data quality, efficiency, and scalability. You will use analytical insights to track, monitor, and improve data accuracy across multiple systems and data sources. Your industry knowledge will be crucial in optimizing workflows related to court data, public records, and other screening data sources. You will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on goals and processes.

You will be responsible for driving initiatives that improve the overall quality of background data provided to clients. This includes developing and refining processes that ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards. You will also play a key role in shaping how product and operational strategies align to deliver accurate, high-quality background data. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of Checkr's data platform and its ability to support safe and fair decision-making for clients.
