Sentry is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance application and platform security. You'll work with Kubernetes and cloud-based applications to drive security solutions. This role requires expertise in security architecture and threat modeling.
You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on application and platform security. Your background includes working with cloud-based applications and Kubernetes, allowing you to effectively address security challenges in modern software environments. You are familiar with security best practices and frameworks, particularly OWASP, and have hands-on experience with tools like Docker and Cloudflare. You understand the importance of threat modeling and can articulate security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with engineering teams to enhance security postures. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities.
Experience with incident response and security monitoring tools is a plus. Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security testing methodologies will help you excel in this role.
