Who you are
You have a solid background in hardware validation and testing, with experience in executing test plans and documenting results. You are familiar with using test equipment software and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all bugs are accurately recorded and communicated. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software and firmware developers to ensure product quality. You understand the importance of adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations in a lab setting. You are proactive in maintaining lab organization and efficiency, ensuring that all equipment is set up and functioning correctly.
Desirable
Experience with the Atlassian Suite is a plus, as it will aid in documenting and tracking test cases effectively. Familiarity with safety equipment and production equipment setup will enhance your ability to contribute to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for executing validation tests for both new and legacy products, ensuring that all hardware meets the required specifications. You will assemble automation test fixtures and set up test equipment, maintaining a well-organized lab environment. You will document bug tickets meticulously, including reproducing bugs and capturing logs to assist developers in troubleshooting. Collaboration with remote software and firmware developers will be key, as you will test firmware and hardware fixes within the communicated timelines. You will also monitor the productivity and efficiency of industrial operations, ensuring compliance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
