Dropbox is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy large-scale machine learning systems for Dropbox Dash. You'll work with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires expertise in machine learning and experience building ML products at scale.
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in designing and deploying large-scale ML systems. Your expertise in AI technologies allows you to push the boundaries of what's possible, and you have a proven track record of building impactful ML products. You are comfortable working with semi-structured data and have experience with large language models and retrieval-augmented generation. Your coding skills are top-notch, and you are adept at developing production-quality code for serving machine learning models at scale. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex challenges alongside cross-functional teams.
Experience with cloud and mobile/edge environments is a plus, as is familiarity with data curation and prompt engineering. You have a passion for personalizing user experiences through machine learning and are excited about the opportunity to transform how millions of users interact with Dropbox.
In this role, you will design, build, evaluate, deploy, and iterate on large-scale machine learning systems that power Dropbox Dash’s AI search and organization features. You will lead end-to-end workflows for large language models, ensuring that the systems you create are robust and scalable. Your work will involve collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of code quality and performance, as well as mentoring junior engineers on the team.
