What you'll do

As an Aerodynamics Engineer II at Relativity, you will be responsible for analyzing the aerodynamic performance of the Terran R rocket. You will work closely with the Integrated Performance teams to ensure that the rocket meets customer requirements for reliability and efficiency. Your role will involve conducting simulations and wind tunnel tests to validate design choices and optimize performance. You will also collaborate with propulsion, manufacturing, and software teams to integrate aerodynamic considerations into the overall design process.

You will participate in design reviews and provide input on aerodynamic aspects of the rocket's mission profiles. Your insights will help shape the trajectory design and ensure that the rocket can successfully deliver payloads to orbit. You will be expected to document your findings and present them to stakeholders, contributing to the continuous improvement of our design processes.
