Overview

Amazon is seeking a Senior Workforce Planner to lead high-volume hiring events for their Customer Fulfillment & Delivery Services teams. You have a proven track record in workforce planning and staffing, with experience leading high-volume recruitment efforts. Your ability to manage complex processes and prioritize tasks effectively sets you apart. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates. You possess strong leadership skills, having successfully managed small teams in previous roles, and you are comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders, including finance and supply chain teams. You are data-driven and can analyze metrics to improve workforce planning strategies. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to engage effectively with vendors and internal teams alike. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly in response to changing business needs, ensuring that staffing goals are met efficiently.

Desirable

Experience in a similar role within a large organization is a plus. Familiarity with labor demand planning and community engagement initiatives will enhance your candidacy. A background in customer service or operations can also be beneficial, as it aligns with Amazon's commitment to customer-centricity.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of country-wide staffing events, ensuring that all hiring needs are met in a timely manner. You will manage relationships with vendor suppliers, overseeing daily operations and engagement initiatives to optimize staffing processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing community engagement plans that support labor demand planning. You will analyze key metrics related to vendor engagement, peak planning, and hiring costs to drive improvements in workforce planning workflows. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. As a leader, you will mentor and guide a small team of staffing leads, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. You will work closely with business operations and finance teams to align staffing strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that all customer service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Your role will be critical in shaping the future of workforce planning at Amazon, as you contribute to building a scalable and effective staffing model.
