We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in a fast paced, data-driven environment. The successful candidate will be an analytical problem solver, and have an extremely high level of customer focus. This role will help us deliver at our scale by analyzing data, building metrics, and improving performance of products that support the energy and water teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Identifying system improvement opportunities by analyzing data, monitoring metrics, and partnering with internal teams
• Designing and developing automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
• Work collaboratively with other AWS teams to support the management of energy and water programs.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
