Altium is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to design and optimize rendering systems for real-time applications. You'll work with C++, C#, and various rendering APIs. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience in software development, showcasing your seasoned expertise in the field. Your proficiency in C++ and C# is complemented by your knowledge of shader languages like HLSL and GLSL, allowing you to tackle complex rendering challenges effectively. You possess a deep understanding of real-time rendering techniques and GPU architectures, which is crucial for developing high-performance applications. Your strong mathematical skills, particularly in linear algebra and vector math, enable you to create sophisticated algorithms that enhance rendering capabilities. You are familiar with modern programming techniques and are eager to apply them in innovative ways to improve existing systems.
Experience with additional rendering APIs or frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with collaborative tools that enhance team productivity. A background in electronics design or a related field could also provide valuable context for your work at Altium.
