You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and hardware engineering, with a focus on performance optimization. Your experience includes working with large-scale systems and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You are passionate about customer-focused solutions and have a deep understanding of the technologies that power cloud services.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can envision and implement innovative technical solutions. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can effectively communicate complex ideas and drive projects forward. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance processes and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with AI applications in silicon development workflows is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft’s cloud offerings and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape will help you excel in this role. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving cloud industry.

What you'll do

As a Senior Performance Architect at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering operational measures of success for the Cobalt program. You will work closely with the Compute Silicon and Manufacturing Organization (CSME) team to improve planning processes, quality, delivery, scale, and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and develop strategies to address them. Your insights will help shape the future of Microsoft’s cloud offerings, ensuring that they meet the demands of a growing customer base. You will also be involved in the application of AI to enhance silicon development workflows, driving innovation within the team.
