InterSystems is seeking a Kubernetes Architect to join their global infrastructure team. You'll be responsible for scaling, automating, and securing Kubernetes environments across various platforms. This role requires expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
You have a strong background in Kubernetes architecture and management, with hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments. Your expertise in tools like kubeadm, EKS, AKS, GKE, or Rancher allows you to implement robust security frameworks and network policies effectively. You understand the importance of automation and infrastructure as code, utilizing Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD to streamline cluster provisioning and application deployment pipelines.
You are familiar with CI/CD integration and have experience in supporting GitOps practices for continuous deployment automation. Your knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluentd/Fluent Bit enables you to implement effective monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with DevOps, SRE, and security teams to ensure best practices are followed in Kubernetes management.
Experience with backup and restore strategies using tools like Velero, Kasten, or Stash is a plus. You are comfortable operating Kubernetes workloads across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and have a solid understanding of hybrid and on-prem deployments.
As a Kubernetes Architect at InterSystems, you will play a critical role in scaling and securing our container orchestration environments. You will deploy, manage, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters, ensuring they are production-ready and capable of supporting mission-critical applications. Your responsibilities will include implementing robust RBAC, network policies, and security frameworks within Kubernetes to safeguard our infrastructure.
You will automate cluster provisioning and application deployment pipelines, leveraging tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD to enhance efficiency and consistency across environments. Integrating Kubernetes with modern CI/CD workflows will be a key focus, allowing for rapid and safe application delivery.
Monitoring and troubleshooting will also be part of your role, as you implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability of Kubernetes clusters. You will collaborate with application developers, SREs, and security teams to implement best practices and serve as a technical advisor on Kubernetes-related matters.
InterSystems is committed to excellence and provides a supportive environment for its employees. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to projects that unlock the power of data. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds in our team. Join us in our mission to help organizations perceive data in imaginative ways and make a meaningful impact in the world of technology.
