Wheely is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance their Data Team by optimizing data integration pipelines and supporting business users. You'll work with technologies like SQL, Python, and Snowflake to provide a seamless data experience.
You have 3+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure Engineer, Data Engineer, or MLOps Engineer roles, and you are well-versed in analytical databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery. Your expertise includes deploying and monitoring data pipelines using tools like Kafka and Airflow, and you have a structured approach to data modeling that emphasizes performance tuning techniques. You are fluent in SQL and Python, and you possess the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data integration processes. Your experience also includes containerizing applications and code using Docker and Kubernetes, and you are comfortable researching and integrating open-source technologies for data ingestion and BI reporting. You have a keen eye for identifying performance bottlenecks and ensuring data quality across business units.
As a Data Engineer at Wheely, you will enhance the Data Team by implementing architectural best practices and optimizing low-level processes. You will support the evolution of data integration pipelines, utilizing tools such as Debezium and Kafka, while also focusing on data modeling with dbt and managing database engines like Snowflake.
