Esri is seeking a Scene Service Product Engineer II to enhance 3D content creation and maintenance workflows in ArcGIS. You'll work with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, focusing on APIs and user experience. This role requires expertise in 3D services and REST API documentation.

Who you are

You have a strong background in 3D services and ArcGIS technologies, with experience in creating and maintaining scalable 3D content. Your expertise allows you to assist software users effectively in their workflows, ensuring they can leverage the full potential of ArcGIS. You are comfortable collaborating with development teams and product engineers to build and test new functionalities for 3D layers, contributing to the overall improvement of the platform.

You possess a solid understanding of OGC standards, including I3S and 3D tiles specifications, and can apply this knowledge to enhance user experiences. Your analytical skills enable you to assess testing results accurately, determining pass/fail statuses and reporting findings consistently. You are also adept at documenting REST APIs and creating online help documentation for scene layers, ensuring clarity and accessibility for users.

What you'll do

In this role, you will become a technology expert in ArcGIS Enterprise and 3D services, using your knowledge to support users in creating and maintaining 3D services. You will collaborate closely with development programmers and product engineers to design, write, and maintain tests that validate the functionality of ArcGIS 3D layers technology. Your work will involve analyzing testing results to ensure the reliability of the services provided.

You will also work on improving automated deployment processes and test harness automation, contributing to the efficiency of the development cycle. By partnering with other teams, you will help integrate scene layers seamlessly into the platform, enabling users to execute their 3D workflows quickly and effectively. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement and release of 3D technology, allowing users to achieve more with their data.
