Minitab is seeking a Manager/Director of Global Procurement to lead high-impact sourcing initiatives across software, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure. You'll negotiate multi-million-dollar contracts and drive cost savings while managing a procurement team. This role requires strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
You have a proven track record in procurement with at least 5 years of experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives. Your expertise in negotiating high-value contracts has resulted in significant cost savings for your previous employers. You understand the complexities of vendor management and have successfully built governance frameworks that ensure consistent value delivery from suppliers. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to align procurement strategies with corporate goals. You are comfortable influencing executive-level decisions and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance. You thrive in a hybrid work environment and are willing to travel bi-monthly to the office in State College, PA.
Experience in managing procurement for software, SaaS, and cloud services is highly desirable. Familiarity with real estate procurement and vendor selection processes will set you apart. You are adept at using data-driven insights to inform your procurement strategies and have a strong understanding of risk allocation in contract negotiations.
In this strategic leadership role, you will own category strategies for software, SaaS, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. You will personally lead the highest-value deals to secure optimal terms and pricing while managing risk effectively. Your responsibilities will include overseeing real estate procurement, guiding global lease renewals, and partnering with various teams to ensure alignment with corporate strategy. You will strengthen vendor management by building performance scorecards and renewal processes that hold suppliers accountable. Your role will also involve driving cross-functional impact by collaborating with senior leaders across different departments to deliver procurement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will mentor your procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
