Contentful is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive growth in the MidMarket space across North America. You'll be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and expanding existing accounts. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in managing customer relationships.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the MidMarket segment, with experience in managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth. Your ability to communicate effectively with professional developers, marketers, and business leaders sets you apart. You understand the importance of aligning customer objectives with business solutions, ensuring that clients achieve their goals with Contentful's offerings.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable leading the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop account strategies and pipelines that meet quarterly and annual sales goals. You are adept at conducting market and competitor analysis, which informs your sales approach and helps you position Contentful effectively.

You are a collaborative team player who works closely with Customer Success teams to nurture and grow a defined customer base. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients is crucial, as you will be the primary point of contact for both customers and prospects. You are driven by results and are motivated to exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Desirable

Experience with value-based sales processes is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Salesforce to manage sales reports and customer interactions. A background in technology or software sales will help you understand the needs of your clients better and position Contentful's solutions effectively.

What you'll do

As a Mid Market Account Executive at Contentful, you will be responsible for positioning, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities within the North American territory. You will develop a comprehensive account strategy that includes prospecting new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts. Your role will involve maintaining sales reports and delivering presentations to customers, showcasing how Contentful can meet their business objectives.
