Would you like the opportunity to work on industry-leading real estate development projects in the logistics space? As Associate Corporate Counsel, Real Estate, you will partner with Amazon’s Real Estate and Operations teams to buy, lease, entitle, construct, launch and manage Amazon's logistics facilities. Our projects range from multi-million square foot fulfillment centers to smaller delivery stations, in big cities and rural areas and everything in between, each with their own nuances to consider. These are dynamic, complex projects presenting novel legal and business issues requiring high judgment.

Key job responsibilities
- Day-to-day business and real estate law counseling
- Land use advice
- Identifying opportunities for and implementing process improvements
- Resolving legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships
- Handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries

A day in the life
Each day will be different in this role. Some days will be focused on managing a high volume of in-flight transactions, while others will be focused on complex strategic projects or new business initiatives. We’re also always look for ways to improve our processes and scale our resources, often involving the use of new technology, such as AI.- 3+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience working in real estate law in private practice or in-house at a technology company or equivalent- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience in development, land use or economic development
- Comfortable making high-judgment decisions in ambiguous situations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
