Kepler Communications is hiring a Thermal Design Engineer to develop and test spacecraft thermal management systems. You'll work on ensuring heat loads from subsystems are managed effectively. This role requires expertise in thermal design and engineering principles.
You have a strong background in thermal design engineering, with experience in developing and testing thermal management systems for spacecraft. You understand the complexities of managing heat loads from various subsystems and can ensure that equipment operates under optimal conditions. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system designers. You are passionate about space technology and eager to contribute to innovative solutions that enable real-time Internet access in space.
Experience with spacecraft design and thermal analysis tools is a plus. Familiarity with space-based communications payloads and ground-based assets will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.
In this role, you will focus on the development and testing of spacecraft thermal management systems. You will work at the top spacecraft design level, ensuring that heat loads from subsystems are effectively managed. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with other engineers to design and implement thermal solutions that meet the operational requirements of our space-based communications payloads.
