Coupang is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance forecasting and planning functions. You'll manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while collaborating with corporate finance. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting.
You have over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Your expertise in SQL allows you to generate data-driven insights that guide senior-level decision-making. You are adept at understanding business issues and developments, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can partner with various stakeholders to drive corrective actions when necessary.
Your background includes working closely with corporate finance teams, ensuring that key developments in the business are communicated effectively to senior management. You possess a keen eye for detail and are committed to improving financial processes through sustainable and systematic approaches. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
Experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with financial modeling and cash flow analysis. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and have a track record of implementing successful financial strategies.
In this role, you will manage all aspects of financial analysis, including developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts. You will conduct deep-dive analyses to generate insights that will inform strategic decisions at the senior management level. As the point of contact for the Taiwan business, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and drive necessary actions.
You will partner with the corporate finance team at Coupang's Global HQ, providing updates on key business developments and communicating insights that impact financial performance. Your role will involve reviewing financial analysis and reporting requirements, ensuring that all aspects of the company's P/L and cash flows are accurately represented.
You will also be responsible for cost analysis and operational metrics, helping to identify areas for efficiency improvements. Your analytical skills will be crucial in modeling financial scenarios and forecasting future performance, enabling Coupang to make informed decisions as it expands in Taiwan.
