Upside is seeking a Consumer Strategy & Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across the Consumer Marketing organization. You'll coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in operational strategy.
You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You excel at project planning and have a proven track record of driving operational excellence across teams. Your ability to foster collaboration and clear communication is key to your success in this role. You are adept at managing interdependencies and risks, ensuring that complex initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities. You understand the importance of aligning strategic objectives with actionable plans, and you are skilled at translating high-level goals into detailed roadmaps.
Experience in consumer marketing or technology sectors is a plus. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes and performance metrics will enhance your ability to contribute to Upside's mission. A background in project management methodologies will also be beneficial as you navigate cross-functional initiatives.
In this role, you will serve as the central coordination hub for the consumer business, reporting directly to the Consumer Strategy & Operations Principal. You will own end-to-end project planning for cross-functional initiatives, translating topline objectives into integrated roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include sequencing work across teams and ensuring that execution reflects business needs rather than just the needs of individual projects. You will anticipate and manage interdependencies, risks, and tradeoffs across a complex initiative portfolio, proactively surfacing implications and facilitating decisions. Your ability to re-balance plans as necessary will be crucial in maintaining momentum and achieving desired outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with various teams within the organization, ensuring that strategic priorities are communicated clearly and that all stakeholders are aligned. Your role will involve regular check-ins and updates to keep everyone informed and engaged in the process. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
