Amazon is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to join their Technology Deployment - Systems Integration team. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering advanced fulfillment systems, requiring skills in AWS, Java, and Python. This position is based in Nashville.
You have experience in systems engineering, particularly in the integrated automation project life cycle, which includes design, development, implementation, and enhancement. Your background allows you to effectively serve as a liaison between Fulfillment Center Operations and product development engineers, ensuring that customer needs are captured and addressed. You are a natural problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, building relationships across cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
You possess strong technical skills, particularly in AWS, Java, and Python, which are essential for integrating and deploying advanced technology systems. Your ability to troubleshoot and iterate on solutions is key to validating and testing processes through lab and field activities. You are detail-oriented and committed to improving deployment processes, ensuring that each step meets the high standards expected at Amazon.
You are a proactive communicator, able to synthesize the voice of the customer and relay feedback to both internal and external partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development engineers and Fulfillment Center Operations, to ensure that the systems you develop align with operational needs. You will also be responsible for capturing and synthesizing customer feedback, ensuring that the voice of the customer is integrated into the development cycle.
