Handshake is seeking Statistical Assistants to contribute to an AI research project. You'll evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured feedback based on your professional experience. This role is remote and requires at least 4 years of relevant experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in a field that allows you to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes performing data computation and analysis using statistical formulas and software, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of source data. You are skilled at compiling and presenting findings through reports, charts, or graphs, and you have experience participating in data-driven projects. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the evolving landscape of AI in your field.
In this role, you will leverage your professional experience to evaluate what AI models produce in your field. You will assess content related to your work and deliver clear, structured feedback that strengthens the model’s understanding of workplace tasks and language. Your work will involve developing prompts for AI models that reflect your field and evaluating the responses generated. You will have the flexibility to work asynchronously and independently from wherever you are, with an average commitment of 5-20 hours per week. Your placement into a project will depend on availability, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects throughout the year.
