Who you are

You have a strong background in program management, with experience in leading complex projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Your ability to measure performance and create datasets for machine learning initiatives is key to your success in this role. You excel at resolving tradeoffs between quality, latency, and cost, ensuring that the datasets you develop meet the high standards expected at Amazon.

Your knowledge of consumer products is broad, allowing you to assess the quality and content of images and other data effectively. You are detail-oriented and quick-thinking, able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of Amazon Search. You understand the importance of data groundtruthing pipelines and have experience working with multilingual workforces.

You are passionate about leveraging advanced technologies in computer vision and AI to improve customer experiences. Your analytical skills enable you to monitor the performance of production machine-learning systems and identify areas for improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy orchestrating efforts across teams to achieve common goals.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale distributed systems is a plus, as is familiarity with image recognition technologies. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and have a track record of successfully managing projects that require coordination across different functions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of datasets that are crucial for Amazon's machine-learning initiatives. You will orchestrate the efforts of various stakeholders, ensuring that the datasets are built efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include designing and operating data groundtruthing pipelines, which will involve working with multilingual teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will assess the quality and content of images and other data relevant to the locales where Amazon operates. Monitoring the performance of production machine-learning systems will be a key part of your role, as you will need to identify the best results for our customers and provide feedback to the computer vision teams.
