Program Management Specialist

Who you are

You have at least 3 years of program management experience, ideally within the networking, consumer electronics, or embedded systems industry. Your proactive approach and strong technical understanding enable you to manage complex, cross-functional projects effectively. You possess exceptional communication skills that allow you to align engineering, operations, and business objectives seamlessly. Your organizational excellence ensures that you can drive project planning, milestone management, and risk mitigation to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams, product management, and supply chain partners to align priorities and deliverables. Your ability to manage program schedules, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple product lines is a key strength. You are committed to maintaining strong process discipline, ensuring consistency in project execution and documentation. You are also focused on continuous improvement in program management practices, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Desirable

Experience in the networking or consumer electronics sectors is preferred, as is familiarity with embedded systems. A background in managing hardware New Product Introductions (NPI) and software/firmware development programs will set you apart. You are forward-thinking and passionate about technology, eager to make a significant impact in your role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead cross-functional program execution for NETGEAR's networking products, guiding projects from concept through mass production. You will drive project planning and milestone management, ensuring that all aspects of the program are on track and aligned with business goals. Your responsibilities will include facilitating effective communication among global teams, ODM partners, and vendors, providing status reports, and escalating key risks to leadership.

You will manage program schedules and resource allocation, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives. Your role will require you to recommend mitigation strategies for any risks that arise, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives within the program management team, helping to refine processes and enhance overall project execution.
