What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Lyft, you will be part of the Mapping experiences team, focusing on building features that enhance the experience for both drivers and riders. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and implement solutions that leverage Lyft's in-house navigation system. Your role will involve designing and optimizing systems that process real-time routing information, ensuring that our mapping capabilities are both reliable and efficient.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, enabling new features and improving existing functionalities. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring that our services remain operational and performant.

In addition to coding, you will engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
