The Third-Party Carrier (3PC) Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring fulfillment value chain processes, from daily operations to compliance, business profitability and innovation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

You are passionate about customer experience, and define yourself as a problem-solver. You have a high willingness to take ownership of solving long-standing issues that no ones dares to tackle. You scrutinize details, identify disruption patterns, comfort anecdotes by data, and propose long-term solutions. You are analytical, relentless on understanding the root cause of a problem, and inventing solutions.

Key job responsibilities
- Monitor efficient functioning of the assigned network, suggest and deploy improvements
- Accumulate data from various sources, identify the most relevant one, present in a way that would help take action
- Foresee implications based on current data and trends
- Dive deep on operational issues root causes, follow up with stakeholders, definition of task and scalable improvements
- Create and track operational metrics
- Be organized and prompt in notifying/solving the situations
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders

About the team
3PC MX team owns the strategy, administration and operative management in an E2E business scope for shipments being made by third party carriers. This team value lies in carrier’s management and enablement of new programs with specific logistic services to increase the overall customer experience at the same time we offer a balance between the service and the cost to serve. Our scope considers the management for all the programs – carriers (legal, procurement, operations, Controllership, payments, configurations). 3PC main objectives are: 1) Performance: Kpis above target (EDD, C2P, S2D, DEA, CPU), 2) Cost: CPS optimization (CPS < or = YoY), 3) Carriers enablement for new FC´s/services and 4) Initiatives focus in customer experience, speed and cost.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
