You have over 5 years of paralegal experience specifically in US and foreign patent prosecution, demonstrating a strong proficiency in patent procedures, rules, and regulations including PCT practice and annuities. Your background equips you with the ability to manage complex patent prosecution processes and deadlines effectively. You possess a deep understanding of the legal field and a passion for innovation, which allows you to creatively apply your legal expertise to unique challenges. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining accurate patent databases and providing comprehensive reports. Your experience includes overseeing and managing outside counsel support administration, ensuring that all aspects of patent prosecution are handled efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally within legal teams to support documentation practices and procedures.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide essential legal support for Apple's patent prosecution processes, collaborating closely with internal patent counsel and outside counsel. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate patent databases, which involves meticulous data management and reporting. Your role will include managing projects and deadlines, ensuring that patent annuities and foreign filing deadlines are monitored and met. You will oversee the administration of outside counsel support, providing backup support for other members of the Patent Services and Operations team as needed. Additionally, you will contribute to the documentation of prosecution practices and procedures, helping to streamline processes within the patent team. Your ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
